Alice Delsie Preete Webb, a 33-year-old beauty therapist and devoted mother of five, tragically became the first person in Britain to die following a liquid Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure. Webb, from Gloucestershire, underwent the treatment, which involves injecting hyaluronic acid and dermal fillers into the buttocks, on Monday. She fell seriously ill afterward and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where she passed away in the early hours of Tuesday.

The procedure, which is marketed online for around £2,500 and claims to be completed in as little as an hour, has raised significant concerns, particularly as it was allegedly performed by an individual lacking professional qualifications and medical training. Police are treating her death as suspicious, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the treatment.

Webb leaves behind five daughters aged between seven and 15, highlighting the devastating impact of this tragedy on her family. The incident underscores the risks associated with non-surgical cosmetic procedures and the importance of ensuring that such treatments are performed by qualified professionals.
