WASHINGTON – Authorities have unveiled an indictment against Malone Lam, 20, from Miami and Los Angeles, and Jeandiel Serrano, 21, of Los Angeles, for their alleged involvement in a scheme to steal and launder over $230 million in cryptocurrency from a victim in Washington, D.C.

Lam, a Singaporean national known online as “Anne Hathaway” and “$$$,” along with Serrano, who operates under the aliases “VersaceGod” and “@SkidStar,” were arrested last night. They are scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court—Lam in the Southern District of Florida and Serrano in the Central District of California—today.

The indictment was announced by U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves, FBI Acting Special Agent in Charge David Geist, and Executive Special Agent in Charge Kareem A. Carter of the IRS Criminal Investigation division in Washington, D.C.
