We are saddened to report the passing of Frankie Beverly, the iconic soul singer and songwriter celebrated for his work with the funk band Maze. He was 77 years old.

His family shared the news on Facebook, stating:

“Grieving the loss of a loved one is a deeply personal and emotional experience. As we navigate our feelings of sorrow, reflection, and remembrance, we respectfully ask for privacy and understanding. This time is one of healing, and we appreciate your respect for our need for solitude as we honor the memory of our beloved Howard Stanley Beverly, known to the world as Frankie Beverly.”
