The disappearance of 30-year-old Hannah Kobayashi from Hawaii last month left her family devastated, but fortunately, she has been located and is now safe.
According to reports from NBC News, Kobayashi, who was traveling from Los Angeles to New York City, missed her connecting flight in early November. She sent a concerning message to her family, expressing fear and mentioning the possibility of someone attempting to steal her money and identity. Her family, alarmed by the message, reported her missing five days later, on November 12.
In response, her family traveled to Los Angeles to search for her, but their efforts proved unsuccessful. Tragically, during this time, her father, Ryan Kobayashi, was found dead in a parking lot near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on November 24. Family members have said he was deeply affected by the stress of searching for his daughter.
While the family has not disclosed where Hannah was found, they have confirmed her safe return. In a statement, the family expressed gratitude for the support they’ve received and asked for privacy as they cope with the immense emotional toll of the past month. “This has been an unimaginable ordeal for our family,” they said.
