Tabby Brown, a former Playboy model known for her associations with footballers Raheem Sterling and Mario Balotelli, has tragically passed away following complications from a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery. The 38-year-old, who had kept the procedure a secret from her family, died shortly after returning to the UK from the Dominican Republic in October 2023.

An inquest into her death revealed that Brown had traveled abroad for the cosmetic surgery, which included liposuction, without informing her family. She had told them she was going on a sightseeing trip, and they were unaware of the surgery until after her passing.

Just three days after her return to the UK, Brown collapsed at her south London home on October 13. Despite emergency services being called, she was pronounced dead shortly afterward. The cause of death was later determined to be a fat embolism, which occurs when fat globules enter the bloodstream and block blood vessels, typically following liposuction procedures.

The South London Coroner’s Court confirmed that Brown had sustained puncture wounds to her pelvis and that several small fat globules had been found in her lungs. After the surgery, Brown reportedly felt unwell but did not seek medical attention, opting instead to take painkillers. Her mother, Mahasin, initially thought her daughter had contracted a viral infection during her trip and cared for her until the tragic discovery.

In emotional tributes, Brown’s siblings shared their shock and sorrow, revealing that they had no prior knowledge of her decision to undergo the procedure. Describing her as a fitness enthusiast with a passion for food, they emphasized her vibrant and energetic personality, which made her untimely passing even more devastating for her family and loved ones.

The family is now mourning the loss of a beloved sister, daughter, and friend, and is urging others to consider the risks of cosmetic surgery. Tabby Brown’s sudden death serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers associated with elective procedures, especially those performed abroad.
