A tanker driver lost his life in a fire incident that occurred along the Oko-Olowo-Jebba Expressway in Kwara State on Friday. The accident occurred at about 9:24 am.
Adekunle disclosed that the tanker, which was conveying 33,000 litres of petrol, colluded with a truck that was loaded with fertilizer, causing a fuel spill that ignited the fire.

Upon arrival, our dedicated firefighters immediately took action to contain the fire and prevent further damage. Their swift intervention ensured that the fertilizer cargo was salvaged.
