In a significant turn of events, James Franco has announced that his long-standing friendship with fellow actor Seth Rogen is officially over. Speaking at the Rome Film Festival while promoting his new film, Hey Joe, Franco reflected on their two-decade relationship, stating, “We had 20 great years together.”

This revelation follows Rogen’s 2021 comments indicating he had no plans to work with Franco again, a decision influenced by Franco’s settlement of a sexual misconduct lawsuit in 2019. The lawsuit stemmed from accusations made by five women, including four of his former acting students, highlighted in a 2018 article by the Los Angeles Times.
